IS OK FOR PARENTS
First Speaker
of Positive Team :
Good morning/
afternoon the honorable adjudicators, all the teachers and all beloved
friends . First , I would like to introduce my team. We are from SMK N 7
Kab.Tangerang I am_________, I myself will be the first speaker, next to
me is ________ she will be the second
speaker and the last is ________ , she will be the third speaker.
Ladies and Gentlemen …
The motion : Divorce is ok for parents. I Agree. Why
?
First, I would try to define the motion, Divorce
is separation between husband and wife. Divorce
usually happened because of some problems, Such as :
-
husband/wife has
affair
-
difference in principle
-
money
-
interference of big family : mother/father/sister/brother in law
-
have no children , and many more.
those problems make husband and wife get quarrel , fight ,
do violent and the worst : can kill each others.
If they have children, and the problem keep continue . Poor the children !
The children will see and listen their parents quarrel.
The result , the parents are sad,
angry all the time
The effect , the children can be stressed, broken hearth, using drugs, fighting
, suicide or they can not concentrate to study, and many more .
Ladies and Gentlemen …
By that result, I
agree with the divorce.
My reasons : for the sake of the children , for the future
of children,
For the happiness of family, It’s better
for parent to get divorce.
Having divorce make parents

cooling down.
-
No more fighting , no more quarrel at home
-
the effect can be good, better for the whole family
-
and may be, may be . . . parents can be happy again with new soul mate.

If the parents are happy , the children will be happy
too.
And Ladies and Gentlemen …
right now ! Being
single parent is ok .
Many single parent are success
to make the family happy.
Moreover , if the parents divorce, it doesn’t mean broken relationship
in family.
And I’m sure. Whatever the decision is, It is the best for
the family.
Thinking about the impact of quarrel all the time at home, I
agree if parents are divorce.

About the motion :
Divorce is OK for
parents. I Disagree. Why ? It’s not good
Divorce is not good ! divorce can be disaster !
From the word of divorce , it
means Husband and wife get separated.
In my opinion : it is the impact
of being not selective before married. Not selective choosing their
soul mate. Not ready taking responsible of married!
The victim : is the children.
For
me, it’s better to separate when they
are dating rather than separate after married.
In Islam religion, Divorce is
ok but it ‘s
hated by the God.
I can imagine that married is not
easy. Many problem.
But divorce is not the solution. Divorce
only make more problems.
We are as
children, need both parents to be on our side, for our development ,
for facing the
future. We need parent’s guide to be a better person.
Ladies and Gentlemen …
If parents
are divorce , not together
anymore. What should we do ? ?
With whom we will
live ? Mother or Father ?
Who will take care of
us ?
Even parents can take
turn to be with children. But It’s not the same .
children need both
parents.
The result : broken
home !
The children
feel shame with their friends. Feel lonely. . . Feel sad . . . feel . . apart.
More over if the
parents fight for taking children.
Children are confused !
See , by that reason

Good afternoon … Ladies and Gentlemen …
My name is … I am the second
speaker of my team.
The motion : Divorce is ok for
parents. Hmm … If it is the best way !
Why not ? I Agree.
If husband is bad to the wife or children , never become a provider, never
give money, not love anymore, violent in the house, why don’t divorce ?
I know divorce is not good for
children , but if every day the married is always quarrel , is it . . good , better ? good for whom ?
Often Quarrel is only make sin.
Why should husband and wife make
more sin every day ?
If they get quarrel , they will say bad words,
and the bad word can hurt husband or wife or children ! that’s
not good for education of children , of family
!
Sometimes the sharp of bad words is more than the sharp of knife or a sword !
hurt the feeling ! can not take it back . . .and The pain will be forever in the hearth !
Quarrel
can lead to kill each other. ( as my friend said ) , That ‘s dangerous !
Why I say that ? many examples
!
- Do you remember the dead body, mutilation , found in the bus of Mayasari Bakti ! the wife kill him, kill the husband !
- What about the face off
patient, the women who poured by mercury water
?
the husband did it !
- look at Rihana the famous
singer ! she canceled the show in Jakarta
If in married , no more love, no more
respect, no more happiness, why don’t get divorce ? Life is so wonderful, don’t
spend it with sadness, misery !
If
parents are not happy, the children will not happy either.

I disagree with your statement that divorce only make more
problems.
- Look at Marshanda
or Dea Imut , the parents are divorced , but they are success and
happy
- Look at Dewi Yull , she choose divorce rather than
keep the married . she is happy,
the family is
happy too.
Socially, they are ok, many people already except single parent. Even respect them more
Divorce really can solve the problem, And not make more problem !
Divorce really can give the solution ! Can make everybody in family more happily !

I
disagree with opponent statement that no more love is ok to divorce, for me,
Love can be easy to go away, but
married should be forever.
Because married
is a long term commitment
Love should be maintain, by the whole
family. Mother , father, children.
All.!
For me , divorce
is not ok.
Because it gives bad effect.
If parents get
divorced , mother and father become
enemy ! some times the two family become enemy
! and the children will be suffered. The children get less compassion
I can not imagine if my parents
divorce, do you all feel alright , feel ok
if your parents get divorce ? I
don’t think so.
I believe we all feel mentally, physically shocked.
Especially
in our
culture, although there are many divorced
family but we still respect a steady family. A family that is stick together

matter how hard the problems

In
this era , it’s difficult to be as in old era. In old era, people still except
the married just the way they are. They are still “nrimo”. That’s why the
divorce still not many.
In this era , there are many
temptations, there are many comparisons, not many people “nrimo” anymore.

If the wife or the husband can not fulfill what they need , they find the need by themselves. Not depend on the couple. Not depend on husband
